Ryan, the NESCAC Player of the Week, averaged a double-double during a 2-0 week for the Cardinals with 21.5 points and 11 rebounds per game. She shot 58.6 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range while also contributing three steals and two assists per game. In a 72-65 win at New Jersey City on Monday, she scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Ryan followed that up with another impressive outing in a 68-60 NESCAC victory over Connecticut College on Saturday. She dropped 23 points against the Camels while shooting 10-of-14 from the floor and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Ryan also secured 12 boards, recorded five steals, and dished out three assists in the triumph. 


Peyton Perine
Curry College
Freshman • Center • Fairfax, Va.

Perine helped Curry to a 2-0 week while averaging 19 points, nine rebounds, 2.5 assists and two steals per game. She started the week with a double-double of 21 points (on 8-of-16 shooting), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal in a 63-51 victory over Wentworth on Wednesday. She then put up another strong effort in a 58-44 win over Nichols on Saturday with 17 points, seven boards, three assists, three steals and two blocks in 39 minutes of action. For the week, Perine shot 42.9 percent from the field.

  • Alexis Hackett, Suffolk (Junior | Guard | Charlton, Mass.) - Hackett averaged 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for Suffolk. She made 11-of-15 field goals on her way to a 23-point, 4-rebound effort in a 59-49 win at Norwich on Thursday, before turning in a double-double with 18 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks in a 67-60 triumph over Johnson & Wales on Saturday.  
  • Emily Irwin, Curry (Senior | Guard | Billerica, Mass.) - Irwin extended her double-digit scoring streak to 14 straight games as she averaged 16.5 points, nine steals, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in two Curry victories. She started the week finishing one steal shy of a triple-double with 20 points (on 8-for-19 shooting), 10 rebounds, nine steals and five assists in a 63-51 victory over Wentworth on Wednesday. Irwin then closed the week with 13 points, nine steals, seven rebounds and four assists in a 58-44 win over Nichols on Saturday. 
  • Kierra McCarthy, Westfield State (Senior | Guard | Ludlow, Mass.) - McCarthy powered the Westfield State offense with 27 points per game on 58.3 percent shooting from the field and 66.7 percent from beyond the arc in a 2-0 week for the Owls. She also contributed six rebounds and 3.5 steals per game. In Wednesday's 80-78 win at Framingham State, McCarthy poured in 26 points, in the process reaching the 1,000-point milestone for her career. McCarthy then scored 28 points with seven rebounds and seven steals as Westfield State topped Salem State 93-69 on Saturday. 
  • Kelsi McNamara, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Senior | Guard | West Newbury, Mass.) - McNamara averaged 23.5 points, 8.0 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game with a 4.0 assist/turnover ratio in a pair of conference victories last week. With 22 points in a 75-52 win over Colby-Sawyer on Tuesday, McNamara became the Monks' all-time leading scorer with 1,780 points - surpassing a record that stood for nearly three decades. She also added seven assists and six rebounds in the triumph. On Saturday, McNamara netted 25 points with nine assists in a 75-62 win at Anna Maria.
  • Mary Kate O'Day, Framingham State (Junior | Guard | Berlin, Mass.) - O'Day produced strong all-around numbers with 20 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Rams. O'Day shot 50 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from long range. After posting a double-double with 20 points, ten rebounds, five assists and two steals in a 80-78 loss to Westfield State on Wednesday, she finished with 20 points, eight boards, three assists and two steals on Saturday in a 71-49 victory over Bridgewater State. 
  • Kenzie Worcester, Husson (Senior | Guard | Washburn, Maine) - Worcester led Husson to a 3-0 week, averaging 24.7 points, seven rebounds, three assists and 2.7 steals per game. She opened the week with 26 points, five boards, three steals and two assists in a 65-62 win at Southern Maine on Monday. She followed that up by registering a double-double with a game-high 31 points and 12 rebounds in a 64-55 win over SUNY Canton on Friday. Husson defeated SUNY Canton again on Saturday, with Worcester recording 17 points, six assists, four steals and four rebounds.
