Bay Path College defeated Daniel Webster College in NECC action 55-53 today at the Maguire Center in women's basketball action. Senior guard Justine Hook (Berwick, Penn.) knocked down a 3 pointer with 56 seconds to put the"Wildcats" ahead. She finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
Senior forward Kayla Skiffington (East Longmeadow, Mass.) topped all players with a double-double, scoring 18 and pulling down 10 rebounds in the win.
The "Eagles" were led by sophomore guard Ashley England (Old Town, Maine) with 12 points. Daniel Webster teammate Paige Pierson (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) followed with eleven points.
Bay Path is now 3-5 overall and 2-1 in the NECC, they now have a couple weeks of before traveling to Nashville, Tenn. to play in the Music City Classic on 12/28 & 12/29. Daniel Webster is 4-5 overall and 2-1 in the NECC, they now wait to play until 1/7 at Mitchell College.
