Amanda Leary, the MVP of the 2026 Naismith Classic following victories for the Pride over Rivier and No. 25 Colby College, totaled 37 points (18.5 per game) and 22 rebounds (11 per game) to go along with four assists, four steals and one block in just over 50 minutes on the court. Leary shot at a .714 clip from the floor burying 15 of her 21 attempts and went 7 for 9 at the free throw line.

Islay Moore put up double digit points in all 3 games in a 2-1 week for Middlebury. On the week, she shot 45% from the floor and 40% from 3. In a win against St. Lawrence, she had a double double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She also added 3 blocks. In a win verse Pacific Lutheran, she put up 18 points shooting 57% from 3 and caralled 7 rebounds. She led the Panthers in scoring in the first two games of the week.

  • Sophie Hedge, WNE - Recorded 22 points and 11 rebounds in a Conference of New England victory over Gordon College.  Shot 8/17 from the field, including 4/7 from the outside while adding three assists and three steals in the win.
  • Lauren Sabia, HartfordSabia averaged 17.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game off the bench for the Hawks in a 2-1 week. Lauren scored a career-high 29 points on December 29th including a 7-7 performance behind the arc in Hartford's only loss this week. Overall she ended the week shooting 52.5% from the floor and 57.1% from three.
  • Nevaeh Yorke, USJStuffed the statsheets for USJ during a 1-1 stretch, averaging 11.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 6.0 steals per game. Started the week with a near quadruple-double, posting 10 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals against Baruch. Rounded out the week by leading USJ to victory in overtime against Wellesley, posting 13 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals.
  • Jaycie Christopher, Southern Maine - Averaged a double-doubled with 23.5 points, 11.0 rebounds per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field with 2.5 assists per game in a 2-0 week for Southern Maine. In a non-conference road-win at Maine Maritime, Christopher had 22 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. At Keene State, Christopher had a game-high 25 points to go with nine rebounds, two assists on 8-for-13 shooting from the field and a perfect 8-for-8 mark from the free throw line. Christopher's double-double at Maine Maritime was her fourth of the season, and the 13 rebounds tie her career-high
  • Morgan Berthiaume, Westfield St. - Berthiaume connected for a career-best 20 points in the Owls 99-64 win at Dean College on Saturday. She finished 9-12 from the floor and 2-2 from long range, and grabbed three steals in just 16 minutes of play.

  • Virginia Johnson, SmithJohnson helped Smith to three more wins and a perfect 10-0 record after averaging 14.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 assists per game. She shot 56.7% from the floor and 50% from three-point range and was named to the All-Tournament Team of the Smith Holiday Classic. She scored in double figures all three games, including a double-double against Husson.
  • Maddie Zancan, Regis - Averaged 30.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game. Scored 50 points in a 92-88 loss to Alma.
  • Grace Jaffray, JWUJaffray averaged 23 points and seven boards as the Wildcats went 2-1 during the break. She knocked down 37 percent of her triples and hit the 20-point mark on two occasions, highlighted by a 33-point effort in a win over Alfred.
  • Marlo Simms, TrinitySimms averaged a double-double for the #17-ranked Bantams, registering 12.3 points and 15.0 rebounds with a 69.2 field goal percentage during a 2-1 week for Trinity. During a 57-42 win at PSU-Abington, Simms tallied 12 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block, and then followed with a 13-point, 15-rebound effort in a nail-bitter at fifth-ranked Johns Hopkins. Simms posted her ninth double-double of the season with 12 points and 15 rebounds in a 58-55 win over Clark.
  • Elsa Daulerio, Bates- Daulerio was named the MVP of the WPI Winter Invitational after she dropped a season-high 22 points on 11-19 shooting against Roger Williams and turned in a balanced performance against Hunter. A force on both sides of the ball, Daulerio averaged 2.6 blocks per game over the past five contests, all wins for the Bobcats.
