In a 2-0 week for MIT, Angie Choi averaged 21.5 points (while shooting 56 percent from the floor and 12-for-12 at the charity stripe), two assists, two steals, and a 2.0 assist/turnover ratio. She had a 6-for-6 performance at the free throw line during the final 45 seconds of regulation to help the Engineers defeat No. 8/9 Tufts, 66-63, on the road on Wednesday night. In the victory, MIT?s first against a top-10 opponent, Choi paced the team with a career-high 25 points as she drained all 10 of her attempts at the charity stripe and grabbed three steals. She then produced a game-high 18 points to go along with four assists and no turnovers in 29 minutes of action in a 77-60 win over Brandeis on Saturday.

Santorelli erupted for a career-high 21 points to help WPI defeat Salem State 78-46 in its lone game this week. The rookie guard, who was scoreless in 24 total minutes over four games this season, drained 3-of-4 from downtown and 5-of-6 overall during the second quarter to account for 11 of her 13 first half points. Santorelli finished 8-of-11 from the floor, including 5-of-8 on 3-pointers, in 29 minutes off the bench, fueling the Engineers 36-1 bench scoring advantage over the Vikings.

  • Sydney Bradbury, Bridgewater State (Sr. | Guard | East Bridgewater, MA) - Averaged 18.5 points, seven rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in a perfect 2-0 week for the Bears while shooting 40.7% (11-27) from behind the arc. Tallied 23 points on a the strength of a career-high seven three-pointers, and added six rebounds, three assists and a steal in a 75-66 win over Clark University. Notched 14 points, eight rebounds, two assists and twp steals in a 78-71 road victory over #24 UMass Dartmouth.
  • Sophia Coppola, Roger Williams (So. | Guard | Madison, CT) - Coppola led the Hawks with 19.3 points per game on the week, while also adding 9.6 rebounds per matchup. 
  • Sydney Jones, Bowdoin - (Jr. | Guard | Chestnut Hill, MA) Jones averaged 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals in a 2-0 week for the Polar Bears. Jones was outstanding in Bowdoin's Saturday win over Colby, scoring 22 points with nine rebounds and seven assists with no turnovers in a 23-point win. For the week, Jones shot 50% from the floor (12-24). 
  • Madison Medbury, RIC (Jr. | Guard | Scituate, RI) - Medbury led the No. 4 Anchorwomen to a 2-0 week, averaging 16.0 ppg, 5.5 rpg and had 3.5 apg. She posted a career-high 25 points to go along with eight boards, one assist and a steal as the Anchorwomen won at No. 11 Trinity, 60-56, on Nov. 29. Medbury had seven points, six assists and three rebounds as RIC opened Little East play with a 77-50 win over VTSU Castleton on Dec. 2.
  • Yasmine Santos, Mitchell (Sr. | Guard | Pawtucket, RI) - The senior forward averaged 30 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.0 assists per game. Santos began the week by scoring 23 points on 47.4% (9-19) shooting against Salve Regina, while adding seven rebounds, three steals, and two assists. She then turned her game up a notch as GNAC play began on Saturday, dropping a collegiate career-high 37 points against Lasell, to go along with 10 rebounds, four steals, and two assists. The performance against the Lasers marked her fifth double-double in six games to begin the season, and the 37 points was the third most scored in a game in the Division III era of the Mitchell program.

  • Arianna Gerig, Williams (Jr. | Guard | Westport, CT) - Arianna Gerig of the Williams College women's basketball team averaged 20.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.7 steals per game during a 3-0 week for the Ephs. She finished with a game-high 28 points, going 15 of 18 from the free-throw line (83.3%), during a 70-60 win over visiting Babson Saturday at Chandler Gymnasium. She also led all players with 11 rebounds and her seven assists were tied for the most in the game. Gerig also contributed with two blocks and two steals. The 15 made free throws were a career-high. She finished with 14 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, to go along with five assists, three steals and two blocks, during a 53-50 win over visiting Skidmore Tuesday. She dropped a game-high 18 points, to go along with five rebounds and five assists, in a 52-42 win over Wheaton (Mass.) Friday.
  • Lyric Grumblatt, Rivier (Sr. | Guard | Manchester, NH) - Despite an 0-2 week of action for Rivier, Grumblatt averaged a double-double with 29.0 ppg and 10.0 reb/g through an average of 37.5 minutes. The senior shot 34.7% from the field, shooting 32.0% from three-point range while also connecting on 13-of-15 free throws. She stuffed the stat sheet with 2.5 assists and steals per game, including one block against Brandeis.
  • Kelly Walsh, Babson (Sr. | Guard | Goffstown, NH) - Walsh averaged 17.5 points, 7.0 assists, 5.5 steals and 4.5 rebounds over two games last weekend for Babson. She went 9-of-9 at the free throw line and finished with 13 points, a season-high seven assists, five rebounds, four steals and two blocks in Friday's 56-45 win over Middlebury, and followed it up with 22 points, seven assists and a career-high seven steals in a 70-60 loss at Williams on Saturday. 
  • Kelsey Yelle, Framingham St. (Jr. | Forward | South Easton, MA) -Averaged 23 points and 10.5 boards in a 2-0 week for the Rams. Scored 26 with 12 rebounds in the Rams 80-71 win over Emerson. Scored 20 points on 10-of-14 from the floor with nine boards, two assists and three steals in 69-58 win over Salve Regina. 
  • Kaylin Zalewski, UMass Dartmouth (Sr. | Guard | Johnston, RI) - In a week with one game against Bridgewater State, Zalewski scored a game-best 27 points on 7 of 11 (64%) from deep. Also grabbed six rebounds, had three assists, a block and a steal.
