Ruffner averaged a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds per game to along with 3.5 assists per game to give No. 15 Smith (10-2) wins over MIT and Springfield this past week. Against the Engineers, Ruffner finished with 17 points, 12 boards and three assists and followed that with a 29-point, eight rebound performance at Springfield where she hit the game-tying buzzer beater to send the game into overtime. With 46 points this week, she moved up to ninth on Smith's all-time scoring list.

Freshman • Guard • Rindge, NH

Rautiola single-handedly willed the Owls to a 2-0 week last week, averaging 29 points, six rebounds, and 2.5 steals. Against Vermont State Castleton, she scored a career high 30 points with eight rebounds and two steals in a 58-46 victory. Then against UMass Boston, she added 28 points, four rebounds, and three steals in a 59-52 win. Overall, she scored 49.5% of the Owls points in the two games, and made 20-of-25 free throws.

  • Jordyn Franzen, UNE (Sr. | Guard | Salem, NH) - Averaged 20.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists (2.5 a/to), and 2.0 steals in a 2-1 week. The 29 points against Nichols were a career high, and the 16 rebounds tied for a personal best. Two double-doubles.
  • Arianna Gerig, Williams (Jr. | Guard | Westport, CT) - Arianna Gerig of the Williams College women's basketball team averaged 21.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.3 blocks and 2.3 assists per game in three games this past week for the Ephs. She finished with game-highs of 33 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks at No. 10-ranked Amherst Friday evening. The five blocks were a career-high and her three steals were tied for the most in the game. Gerig shot 12 of 26 from the field, 1 of 2 from beyond the 3-point line and 8 of 10 from the free-throw line. She dropped 21 points at Hamilton Saturday, going 13 of 16 from the foul line. During a 70-53 win at WPI Tuesday, she finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks.
  • Kylie Grassi, Bridgewater St. - (Jr. | Guard | Plymouth, MA) Averaged 24.5 points, six rebounds (2.5 offensive), two assists, 2.5 steals and one blocked shot while shooting 81.8% (18-22) at the free throw line in a perfect 2-0 MASCAC week for the Bears. Notched 29 points, seven rebounds (three offensive), three assists, three steals and a block in a 77-69 win at Salem State University, and 20 points, five rebounds (two offensive), one assist, two steals and a block in a 56-47 victory over Framingham State University.
  • Lyric Grumblatt, Rivier (Sr. | Guard | Manchester, NH) - In only 24 minutes, Grumblatt totaled 35 points, shooting 63.2% from the field and 71.4% from behind the 3-point line. Grumblatt collected seven rebounds and four steals. The Raiders went on to win the contest against New England College, 87-59. 
  • Jordan Ouellette, USJ (Sr. | Forward | Bristol, CT) - Led the Blue Jays to a comeback victory over GNAC foes Norwich, recording a double-double after scoring 26 points and hauling in 11 rebounds.

  • Bri Frongillo, Emerson (So. | Guard | Hopedale, MA) - Frongillo averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game in two wins for the Lions. 
  • Katie Galligan, Roger Williams (Sr. | Guard | Pembroke, MA) - In a 3-1 week for RWU, Galligan averagd 18 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.
  • Olivia Hadla, Westfield St. (Sr. | Guard | Westfield, MA) - Hadla scored a season-best 24 points, drilling six first-half three pointers, and grabbed nine steals in a 95-32 win over MCLA. She averaged 19 points per game, with 2.5 assists and 5.0 steals per game, shooting 47 percent from behind the arc in a 1-1 week for the Owls.b
  • Rachel Vinton, Springfield (Sr. | Guard | Holden, MA) - Vinton had an impressive two outings for the Pride and averaged 17.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 8.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. In being named the MVP of the Hampton Inn West Springfield/Naismith Classic, she tallied 11 assists, eight points, six boards, and three steals in a win over Roger Williams before turning in the best game of her career in a double overtime setback to nationally-ranked Smith where she posted 27 points and 14 rebounds. 
  • Madi Zancan, Regis (So. | Forward | Cumberland, RI) - Zancan hit the 20-point mark in all three games over the past week for the Pride. Tuesday afternoon against Emerson, she led the Pride with 20 points, hitting two three-pointers in a game for the first time in her collegiate career and scoring 16 of those points in the second half as she also collected seven rebounds and three assists. Thursday at Salve Regina, Zancan scored 17 of her team-high 22 points in the second half to help the Pride close a double-digit deficit down to one point, plus she pulled down seven rebounds. Saturday at Anna Maria, she notched her seventh double-double of the season as she finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
