McKenna produced the most prolific offensive week in her colliegate career, averaging 32.5 points and 4.5 assists per game to lead the Mitchell women's basketball team to a 2-0 record on the week. The senior shot 49% from the floor, 41.2% from three point range, and 75% from the free throw line. She also averaged 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game in wins over Anna Maria College and New England College. McKenna began the week by pouring in a career-high 36 points, including eight three pointers, as the Mariners rolled over the AMCATS 89-68. She followed this up in the team's return to conference play, finishing with 29 points and seven assists in an 84-56 rout of New England College.

George averaged over 20 points, exactly four rebounds and shot 45.2% from the field, playing every minute in an 0-2 week for the Panthers. George poured in 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc, while snagging seven rebounds and handing out three assists in PSU's 63-46 setback at Castleton on Wednesday. She tacked on 18 points, two assists, one rebound and a steal while knocking down three triples (3-of-10) as the Panthers fell to UMass Boston, 73-42, on Saturday.

NEWBA First Team
  • Kamsi Nwogu, MIT (So. | Forward | Algonquin, IL) - In a 2-0 week for MIT, Kamsi Nwogu averaged 18 points on 68.4 percent shooting from the floor and 100 percent from the free throw line in addition to 8.5 rebounds. She posted a game-high 14 points (6-7 FG and 2-2 FT) to go along with seven rebounds in 22 minutes of a 67-43 victory at Southern Maine on Wednesday. Nwogu then led all players with 22 points (7-12 FG and 8-8 FT), grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds, and added two steals in an 85-42 win over Emerson, extending the Engineers' winning streak to seven.
  • Jordan Ouellette, St. Joseph CT (Jr. | Guard | Bristol, CT) - Ouellette had a monstrous week for the Blue Jays, averaging a double-double with 29.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. She started off with a career-high 31 points and 16 rebounds in the thrilling triple overtime game against Albertus Magnus. The 31 points were the first time a Blue Jay dropped 30+ in a single game this season. She wrapped up the week by leading USJ to a bounce-back victory at home against Elms, scoring 27 points while hauling in 8 rebounds.
  • Maggie Russell, Tufts (Jr. | Forward | Morristown, NJ) - Russell led Tufts to a pair of wins at Colby and Bowdoin to move into a tie for first place in the NESCAC. Russell averaged 17.5 points and 17.5 rebounds per game and was 18-of-20 from the foul line. On Friday, Russell posted 18 points and 14 rebounds against Colby and followed up with 17 points and a career-high 21 rebounds versus Bowdoin. 
  • Faye Veilleux, UNE (Jr. | Forward | Wrentham, MA) - Veilleux led the UNE to pair of conference wins this week, averaging 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals, and 1.5 assists per game. She opened the week with 16 points, six rebounds, six steals, and two assists in a 72-54 win over Wentworth on Wednesday (Feb. 1). She then came in a posted a 25-point, eight-rebound performance in a 59-51 win over Salve Regina on Saturday (Feb. 4). She also had two steals, two blocks, and an assist against the Seahawks.
  • Kelsey Yelle, Framingham St (So. | Forward | South Easton, MA) - Yelle 27.5 and shot 83% from the floor adding nine rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Rams. Scored 23 points connected on 11-of-11 from the field, picked up a double double in the game as she also grabbed 11 boards. Scored a career-high 32 points, 7 rebounds, and two assists.

  • Reilly Campbell, Trinity (Jr | Center | Wallingford, CT) - Campbell had 19 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocked shots in a 49-48 loss at Williams. She followed that up with 17 points, 13 boards, four assists, three steals, and a block in a 60-47 win at Middlebury. Campbell shot 60 percent from the field in the two games (15-25).
  • Kylie Grassi, Bridgewater St. (So. | Forward | Plymouth, MA) -  Averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, three assists and 3.5 steals in a perfect 2-0 MASCAC week for the Bears while shooting 47.5% (19-40) from the floor and 80% (8-10) at the free throw line. Posted a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds (five offensive) to go along with four assists and three steals in a 77-61 win on the road over Salem State. Notched 26 points, five rebounds (two offensive), two assists, four steals and a blocked shot in an 88-63 victory over Worcester State.
  • Lyric Grumblatt, Rivier (Jr. | Guard | Manchester, NH) - Grumblatt averaged 21 points per game in a 2-1 week for the Raiders. Her top performance came against previously undefeated Albertus Magnus Falcons. Grumblatt racked up 29 points and ten rebounds to complete the double-double. Overall, she tallied 63 points, 18 rebounds, and nine steals.
  • Olivia Hadla, Westfield St. (Jr. | Guard | Westfield, MA) - Hadla powered the Owls to a 2-0 week with a pair of road wins, scoring 25 points on 7-9 shooting from three point range as the Owls topped Framingham State 82-79. She added 13 points and four rebounds in a gritty 69-59 win at Salem as the Owls played without their second leading scorer due to injury. For the week, Hadla avaeraged 19 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game while shooting 55 percent (11-20) from behind the three-point arc.
  • Morgan Morrison, Smith (Sr. | Forward | Detroit, MI) - Morgan Morrison continued an impressive senior campaign by averaging 18.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in two wins for the Smith basketball team. Morrison shot 65.2% from the floor and scored 18 points in commanding wins over Wheaton and Coast Guard. She added three assists and three blocks as the Pioneers reached the 20-win mark for the fifth-straight season.
