Delivered strong second half efforts in each of the Scots' come from behind wins this week. Earlier in the week, Foley scored 12 of her 25 points in the fourth quarter to storm back and beat Roger Williams, then, scored 17 of her 27 points in the third in a 77-59 win over Salve Regina. The senior guard finished the week averaging 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and four steals and powered Gordon to a 2-0 week. 


Bailey Donovan
Husson University 
First-year • Center • Island, Falls, Maine

Donovan was a powerful force under the glass this week for the Eagles, recording a new career-high of 20 rebounds and six blocks in the 56-48 victory over UMaine-Farmington. The rookie added 13 points in the effort for her second double-double of the week. She posted her first double-double at Colby in a close 60-56 loss, leading Husson with 19 points, ten rebounds, and five blocks. Donovan helped the Eagles round out the week with a 90-53 conference win over Thomas to remain undefeated in the NAC (13-0). The 6-3 center finished out an impressive week averaging 14.7 points, 13.0 boards, and 3.7 blocks per game while shooting 71.4% (15-21) from the field.

 


Alexis Finnerty
Nichols College
First-year • Guard • Chester, Conn.

Finnerty had a career-week for the Bison, finishing with 28.0 points, five rebounds, and two steals. In an early week matchup with the CCC-leading Golden Bears, Finnerty exploded for 32 points on 50% shooting and added three steals. Against Curry, the first-year dropped 24 points and hauled in eight rebounds.

  • Mary Kate O'Day, Framingham State  (Sr. | Guard | Berlin, Masss.) - Averaged 23 points (10-of-14 from 3) with 6.5 boards two assists and 1.5 steals in a 2-0 week for the Rams. Scored 19 points on 5-of-7 shooting and 7 boards in the Rams 79-54 win over MCLA. Added 27 on 5-0f-7 from long range in the Rams 92-53 win over Salem State to secure the top seed in the MASCAC Tournament.
  • Sam Hourihan, Springfield College (Fy. | Forward | Bridgewater, Mass.) - Finishing the week averaging 17 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks, and two assists, Hourihan was the Pride's go-to offensive option this week. In an early week win over WPI, the first-year provided a spark by scoring 15 points and hauling in 11 rebounds and five blocks en route to a 63-51 victory over WPI. On Saturday versus MIT, Hourihan notched another double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds to go along with three assists. The first-year scored 11 points in the fourth quarter which fueled the comeback victory.
  • Mya Mosley, Worcester State (Sr. | Guard | Worcester, Mass.) - Mosley went off for 22 points per game this week as the Lancers went a perfect 2-0 in league contests. Mosley opened the week with 16 points, six assists, and five rebounds in a win over Salem State on Wednesday, before scoring 28 points with four assists, three steals, and two rebounds against MCLA on Saturday.
  • Brooke Raiche, Castleton State (Jr. | Guard | Ira, Vt.) - Raiche was a force for the Spartans as part of a 2-0 week, averaging 20.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. She shot 60.0 percent from the field (15-of-25) and 37.5 percent from three (3-of-8) while knocking down 80.0 percent at the line (8-of-10). In a crucial matchup Wednesday, Raiche dropped 24 points against regionally-ranked UMass Boston, hitting 11-of-19 from the field and 2-of-5 from three. She added six rebounds, five assists and three steals in the victory without exiting the game. On Saturday at Southern Maine, Raiche was solid again, pouring in 17 points on 4-of-6 shooting and 8-of-10 at the line. In her 39 minutes, she added six rebounds, four assists and two steals as the Spartans won by 10 over the Huskies.
  • Destiny Fitzgerald, Bridgewater State (Sr. | Guard | Manchester, N.H.) - Averaged 20 points, 14.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, two steals and five blocked shots while shooting 55% (17-31) from the floor and 86% (6-7) at the free throw line in a 1-1 week for the Bears. Posted a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds (eight offensive) to go along with two assists, three steals and three blocks in an 86-58 MASCAC win over Fitchburg State. Recorded a double-double with 22 points and a career-high 19 rebounds (nine offensive) in a 97-95 overtime setback to conference foe Westfield State. Also registered a steal and blocked a career-high seven shots in the loss to the Owls.
  • Bria Fuller, Trinity College (Fy. | Guard | Springdale, Md.) - The first-year put up a strong 27-point effort against nationally-ranked Amherst College on February, 14, before scoring 17 points, grabbing five rebounds, and two steals in a 74-71 win over Hamilton College. The guard averaged 22 points per game on 42.1% shooting, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in the Bantams' week of play.
