Another big week for Gray as she averaged 25.5 points, 12 rebounds, and seven steals per game in a 1-1 week. Netted 32 points with 15 rebounds in an 89-70 loss to Conn College, and then narrowly missed a triple double with 19 points, 11 steals and nine rebounds in a 91-77 conference win over Salem State.

Senior Guard • Sunapee, N.H.

Hamilton averaged 16 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals in a 2-0 week for the Chargers. She also shot 50% from the floor and 50% from beyond the arc. The senior guard began the week with seven points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists and four steals in a 69-54 GNAC road win at Rivier. In the final game of the week, a 72-46 GNAC win over Johnson & Wales, Hamilton poured in 25 points to go with four boards, five assists and a couple of steals. Hamilton scored 17 of her points in the first quarter against JWU to give the Chargers an early cushion.



Pam Gonzalez
Regis College
Freshman • Guard • Revere, Mass.

The GNAC Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season, Pam Gonzalez kept Regis close with Rhode Island College and then led the Pride past GNAC preseason favorite Emmanuel over the past week. Wednesday against the Anchorwomen, she notched a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, plus she dished out six assists while committing just one turnover. Saturday, she tied her career high with 15 rebounds to go along with five assists, two steals, and one blocked shot.

  • Rene Hudson, New England College (Sr. | Guard | Gallatin, Tenn) - In a 2-0 week for the Pilgrims, Hudson put together a consistent line of 14 points, four rebounds, eight assists, and  and two steals. The senior guard shot 50% from the field and 33.3% from beyond the arc for the week. New England College picked up wins over Dean College and Becker College. 
  • Jordyn Gauvin, Rhode Island College (Sr. | Guard | Fall River, Mass.) - Named the Little East Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Gauvin averaged 11 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 8.0 apg, 2.0 spg in a 2-0 week for the Anchorwomen. She had 10 points, five boards, and 11 assists in a 60-56 win over Regis on Jan. 22. Gauvin had 12 points, three boards, five assists and four steals as RIC cruised past Plymouth State, 89-39, on Jan. 25.
  • Katelyn Pickunka, Smith College (So. | Forward | WMass.) - Pickunka averaged 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game in a pair of NEWMAC wins last week. In a 71-60 victory over MIT on January 22, Pickunka totaled a game-high 21 points to go along with four boards, three assists and three steals. She followed that with a nine point, 12 rebound, three steal and three block performance in Smith's 65-48 win against Wellesley. Throughout the two games, Pickunka shot 63.2% from the field and 66.7% from the free throw line.
  • Sydney Allen, Husson Univeristy (So. | Guard | Corinth, Maine) - Allen shattered a nine-year HU program record as she drained her eighth three-pointer on Friday night against SUNY Canton to become the new record holder for most threes in a game, hitting 8-for-11 (72.7%). The 5-5 guard also hit a new personal-high in New York, achieving her first 20-point game in Green and Gold as she rattled off 26 points, while dishing five assists, grabbing six boards, and impressively jumping up for one block. To help secure a sweep over the Roos on the 2-0 weekend and remain undefeated in conference play (7-0), Allen averaged 22.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
