- Kylie Shoemaker, Wheaton College (Mass.) (Sr., F, Fayetteville, N.Y.) - Shoemaker was named MVP of the Salem State Holiday Tournament, scoring 16 points and pulling down 16 rebounds in the championship game against Vassar College. She averaged a double-double for the week and averaged five blocks while shooting 83.3 % from the free throw line (10-12).
- Forbasaw Nkamebo, Westfield State University (Sr., C, Amherst, Mass.) - Nkamebo was named MVP of the Westfield State Holiday Tournament after leading the Owls to the title by averaging 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game. Posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in a 80-61 win over Wellesley in the title game, and shot 60 percent from the floor (15-25) in the two games.
- Kristen Ferola, Babson College (Sr., F, Amherst, Mass.) - Ferola put together a pair of superb performances averaging 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals as Babson split a pair of games at the Music City Classic in Nashville. The senior forward scored a career-high 20 points to go along with seven boards in a 70-62 win over Whitworth on Tuesday and then finished with 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in a loss to Mount Union on Wednesday.
- Ava Adamapoulos, Springfield College (Jr., C, Ludlow, Mass.) - Adamopoulos, was outstanding in the final game of the first semester, as well as a pair of games in the Hampton Inn West Springfield/Naismith Classic, as she averaged 15.3 points, eight rebounds, and two assists per contest. In a 74-71 win over Suffolk, Adamopoulos went off for 14 points and eight rebounds, before leading the Pride to a 66-51 victory over Wesleyan (Conn.) with 18 points and six boards, while also leading Springfield in assists with four. In the championship bout against No. 15/18 Tufts, Adamopoulos registered her third double-double of the season, accumulating 14 points and 10 rebounds in the narrow loss to the Jumbos.
- Ama Biney, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (So., G, Worcester, Mass.) - Biney averaged 14.3 points per game to help the Engineers continue their best start in program history with three victories over the holiday break. The sophomore guard helped the Engineers sweep their two contests in Florida by notching a career-high 21 points, to go along with a game-best six rebounds and three assists in the second game of the tournament, a 67-51 victory over Alvernia. Biney continued her strong play by leading all players with 17 points as WPI opened 2016 with a 59-46 road victory at Simmons.
