Bridgewater State University junior forward Jennie Lindland is the NEWBA/Prestosports Player of the Week for January 18.  Lindland averaged 19.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 7.0 steals in a perfect 2-0 week for the Bears while shooting 72% (18-25) from the floor. She tallied a career-high 20 points on 10 of 12 shooting to go along with three rebounds and a career-high nine steals in an 85-34 MASCAC win over Fitchburg State, then notched 18 points on 8 of 13 shooting to go along with two rebounds, two assists, five steals and a blocked shot in a 56-43 MASCAC win over Salem State.

In a 2-1 week for the Pioneers, Guest-Pritchett shot 46.7 percent from the floor and averaged 16.3 points, 13.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. In a 61-53 NEWMAC win against Emerson, the first-year forward recorded a game and career-high 17 rebounds, including 12 offensive boards to go along with 16 points. On Saturday's 77-74 conference win at Emerson, Guest-Pritchett posted her fifth double-double of the season with 22 points and 14 rebounds.

  • Charlie Boyle, Emerson College (Fr., F/C, Scotts Valley, Calif.) - Boyle led the Lyons to a 2-1 week by averaging 18 points and six rebounds.  The freshman had 26 points, five rebounds, and three blocks in a NEWMAC win over Clark, then added 20 points and nine boards in another league win over Mount Holyoke.
  • Kara Holinski, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Fr., G, Livonia, Mich.) - In a 3-0 week for MIT, Holinski tallied 43 points, was 16-of-26 (.615) from the floor, including going 9-of-15 (.600) from three-point range, while also recording 18 rebounds, five assists, and five steals. She produced a game-high 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals in a 57-41 decision over Clark last Tuesday. Two days later against Wheaton, Holinski once again led the way with 16 points as she was 6-of-8 from the floor and 4-of-5 from behind the arc. She also totaled five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in the 70-52 victory. Holinski wrapped up the Engineers' three-game NEWMAC homestand by generating 11 points, six rebounds, and a steal in a 62-46 win versus Springfield on Saturday.
  • Kenzie Worcester, Husson University (Fr., G, Washburn, Maine) - Worcester scored double digit points in every game for the Eagles this week. She was 54.8% of the field and 55.6 from three. She totaled 80 minutes over the three contests and scored a total of 53 points. She had 13 rebounds total, 10 of which were defensive rebounds. She also had four blocks and six steals.
  • Brittany Stone, Regis College (Mass.) (So., F, West Bridgewater, Mass.) - Stone started and played in three games for the Pride this past week, leading the Crimson and Gold to a 3-0 record in conference games. She averaged 14.0 points while shooting 82.4% from the charity stripe, snagged 11.3 rebounds and blocked 3.0 shots. She recorded three straight double-doubles and had her best game of the week on January 16th at Elms as she tallied a game-high 16 points and 13 rebounds en route to a narrow 49-47 victory over the Blazers. The double-double against Elms was her seventh of the season and the sophomore forward matched a career-high with four blocks.
  • Alicia Brown, University of New England (Jr., C, Greenland, N.H.) - Brown averaged 18.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks while shooting 58% from the field in a 3-0 week for the league-leading Nor'easters, who have won 6 in-a-row. She scored a career-high 25 against Eastern Nazarene and notched her third-best total (20) against Roger Williams, which included the first 11 points for the team.

  •  Kiley Shoemaker of Wheaton (Mass.) became the college's all-time leading rebounder, breaking a 30 year old mark.
