Sabrina Drammis is the NEWBA/Prestosports Player of the Week for December 1.  In a pair of MIT victories during the past week, Drammis compiled 44 points, 24 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks while playing all 80 minutes. She posted 22 points on 10-of-18 shooting and added 10 rebounds in a 65-56 win over Westfield State. Drammis then tallied a game-high 22 points and 14 rebounds to go along with four assists, two steals, and two blocks in a 66-49 victory at Simmons. With the game tied at 44 with 8:08 remaining in regulation, the Engineers mounted a 22-5 run that saw her generate 10 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

Santagata continued her strong play with a solid game against Trinity College last week.  In Keene State's 66-46 win over the Bantams, the freshman went 5-12 from the field for 10 points and added three rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one assist.

  • Forbasaw Nkamebo, Westfield State University (Jr., C, Amherst, Mass.) - Nkamebo notched a pair of double-doubles last week, including a 23 point, 14 rebound performance against MIT and adding 19 points and 10 boards with four steals against Mount Holyoke.
  • Megan Ronaghan, UMass Dartmouth (So., F, North Attleboro, Mass.) - Ronaghan scored 33 points, shooting 16 of 20 from the field, with 10 rebounds, four steals, two blocks, and two assists in a win over Salve Regina.
  • Alanna Vose, University of New England (Jr., G, Cushing, Maine) - Vose netted 21 points, shooting 6-of-10 from behind the arc as the Nor'easters beat Bowdoin 68-64, adding two assists and three steals in 30 minutes of action.
  • Rachael Carter, Salem State University (Sr., G, Merrimack, N.H.) - In her only game last week, Carter scored 21 points, pulled down 13 rebounds, passed out four assists, and added four more steals as the Vikings beat Gordon College.
  • Shannon Brady, Bowdoin College (Jr., F, Scituate, Mass.) - Bowdoin's Shannon Brady averaged 17.0 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 60.9% from the field in a 1-1 week for the Polar Bears. Brady had 18 points in a mid-week loss at UNE before carding 16 points in just 17 minutes of play in a victory over Salve Regina
