Jenna Williamson is the New England Women's Basketball Association/PrestoSports Player of the Week for January 20.  Williamson averaged 23.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals last week for the Bears while shooting 55% (22-40) from the field, 44% (8-18) from three-point range and 94% (17-18) at the free throw line. She notched 29 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal in an 81-76 MASCAC win at Framingham State and tallied 29 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 63-48 MASCAC win at Worcester State. She also notched 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a 64-39 setback to UMass Boston.

Ronaghan averaged 22 points, seven rebounds, and two assists per game to power UMass Dartmouth to a pair of Little East Conference victories. The North Attleboro, Mass. product shot 59.3 percent (16-for-27) from the field and 92.3 percent (12-for-13) from the foul line. Ronaghan scored 27 points, on 11-for-16 from the floor, and pulled in six boards to help the Corsairs hand Eastern Connecticut its first conference loss of the season. On Jan. 18, she filled up the box score with 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and five blocks against Keene State.

  • Kaitlyn Bovee, Roger Williams University (Sr., F, Berlin, Conn.) -  Bovee led the Hawks to a pair of wins last week, becoming Roger Williams' all-time leading scorer in the process.  After netting 10 points with seven rebounds in a CCC win over Curry, Bovee scored 22 points, pulled down 13 rebounds, with three assists, four blocks, and a steal in a victory over the University of New England.
  • Olivia Murphy, UMass-Boston (So., F, Canton, Mass.) - Murphy recorded a pair of double-doubles and averaged 15.3 points and 14.7 rebounds to lead UMass Boston to a 2-1 week. The Canton, Mass. recorded 13 points and nine rebounds while struggling with an illness in Tuesday's loss against Plymouth State before dominating her last two opponents. She recorded a game-high 19 points and 24 rebounds, including 12 offensive boards, Thursday in a non-conference win over Bridgewater State, before posting 14 points and 11 rebounds in Saturday's win over Western Connecticut State. The Beacons' win snapped a 12-game losing streak against the Colonials. 
  • Jill Ritrosky, Eastern Connecticut State University (So., F, Pittsfield, Mass.) - In a split of two Little East Conference games, Ritrosky averaged 21.0 points and 10.5 rebounds and shot 56.7 percent from the floor. The team leader in rebounder in ten of the last 12 games, Ritrosky has had double-doubles in four of the last five game to improve her season average to 10.9. In an 11-point home win over defending champion University of Southern Maine, Ritrosky had 20 points and 11 rebounds, shooting 50 percent from the floor. Ritrosky sparked Eastern’s 40-point second half against Southern Maine with 14 points, hitting half of her field goal attempts, six free throws, pulling down seven rebounds and turning the ball over only one time in playing all 20 minutes.
  • Janaya Bradley, Regis College (Jr., G, New Haven, Conn.) - Janaya Bradley helped lead Regis to a perfect 3-0 mark this week. Bradley averaged 16 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. She posted 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in a 68-53 win over Wheelock. She followed that up with 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals in a 61-33 win over Southern Vermont. She wrapped up the week with a career-high 19 points and three blocks in a 70-48 win over Becker.
  • Sara Binkhorst, Bowdoin College (Jr., G, West Hartford, Conn.) - Bowdoin's Sara Binkhorst scored 32 points - the highest total by a Polar Bear since 2008 - as Bowdoin rallied from a double-digit deficit with under six minutes to play to defeat Hamilton in OT Saturday, 71-65. After sparking the late comeback with 14 second-half points, Binkhorst scored nine points in the extra session to seal the win. She also added 15 points and six rebounds in a Friday loss at Williams.
