- Kylie Shoemaker, Wheaton College (Mass.) (So., F,
Fayetteville, N.Y.) - Shoemaker helped keep Wheaton
at the NEWMAC summit by averaging 21.5 points and 13.5 rebounds.
The sophomore forward scored 25 points and corralled 16
rebounds while adding five blocks in a win over Coast Guard, then
added 18 points, 11 rebounds, and six blocks in a victory over
WPI.
- Denisha Parks, Elms College (Jr., F, Fall River,
Mass.) - Parks helped the Blazers to a pair of league
wins by averaging 27 points and 10.5 rebounds. The junior
scored 34 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against Bay Path, followed
by a 20 point, 10 rebound performance against Lesley University.
For the week, Parks shot 63.6% from the field.
- Aliah Curry, Norwich University (Jr., G, Windsor,
Mass.) - Curry averaged 28.3 points per game in
a 2-1 week for the Cadets. 34 of Curry's weekly total was scored as
the free-throw line, as she connected on 87.2 percent of her 39
attempts. 14 of her 29 points in Norwich's win against Plymouth
State on Tuesday were scored at the foul line. She added a 24-point
performance, including an 11-11 effort at the free-throw line, in a
loss against St. Joseph, and concluded the week with 32 points on
45.8 percent field goal shooting against Anna Maria.
- Kelsey Cahill, Colby-Sawyer College (Jr., F,
Cumberland, R.I.) - Cahill led the
Chargers to a pair of important victories over the third and fourth
teams in the conference standings. She averaged a double-double of
18 points and 10.5 rebounds, while shooting 56.5 percent. In a
65-55 win over Maine Maritime, Cahill scored 17 points on 6-10 and
pulled down 12 rebounds. In the Chargers' 56-49 victory over
Husson, Cahill scored 19 and grabbed nine boards. She added six
blocks and five steals during the week.
- Janaya Bradley, Regis College (Mass.) (Jr., G, New
Haven, Conn.) - Janaya Bradley averaged
17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in a two win week for the
Pride. She scored a career high 22 points, including 4
three-pointers, while also adding eight rebounds, three assists,
and one steal in a win over Mitchell on Thursday. The victory
marked Regis' 50th consecutive regular season NECC win. Bradley
added 13 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and one steal in a
win over Newbury on Saturday.
