Collins helped No. 22 Babson remain undefeated in NEWMAC play with three straight league wins, averaging 18.3 points, 16.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 3.7 blocks, shooting 53.5 percent from the floor and 81.8 percent from the line. She scored 14 points to go with 16 boards and three blocks in a 49-34 road win over Coast Guard on Tuesday before adding 22 points, 11 boards, four blocks, and three steals in a 53-35 victory at MIT on Thursday. Collins closed out the week by erupting for 19 points and a career-high 22 rebounds while also blocking three shots and dishing out three assists in the Beavers' 59-50 comeback win over Smith in a matchup of NEWMAC unbeatens on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Homich averaged 24.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.3 steals while shooting 57.1% (24-42) from the floor, 50.0% (10-20) from behind the arc and 94.1% (16-17) at the free throw line to lead the Bears to a perfect 3-0 week including a pair of MASCAC wins over Framingham State and Westfield State. She notched 26 points, four rebounds, three assists and five steals in the Bears' 92-67 win at Framingham, and registered 24 points, three boards, eight assists and two blocked shots in a 72-58 non-conference victory at UMass Boston. Finally, she capped off the week with 24 points, five rebounds and two steals in the Bears' 63-47 win over Westfield.

Chelsea Vujs earns the Rookie of the Week honor, averaging 12 points and 6.7 rebounds for the Golden Bears.  In a 59-46 win over Wentworth Institute of Technology, scored 12 points, with six rebounds and three assists, followed by a double-double with 11 points, 10 boards and three blocked shots in a 70-48 loss to Salve Regina.  Vujs ended the week with a 13 point performance against 60-50 win against Eastern Nazarene, shooting 6-for-12 from the floor.

  • Caroline Brasa, Western Connecticut State University (Jr., G, East Hartford, Conn.) - In three games last week, Brasa shot 55.6% from the floor while averaging 15.3 points per game.  She knocked down 81.8% of her free throws, and shot 46.7% from long distance as the Colonials went 3-0.
  • Vanessa Bosques, Daniel Webster (Gr., F, Windham, Conn.) - Bosques became Daniel Webster's all-time scoring leader last week, averaging 33.7 points in a 3-0 week for the Eagles. After pouring in 29 points against Southern Vermont, she added back-to-back 36 point efforts in wins against Wheelock and Bay Path.  Those games were the second highest single game totals in school history, and hit no less than seven three pointers in all three games last week.
  • Nicole Garland, Southern Maine (Sr., G, Portland, Maine) - In key conference wins over Rhode Island College and UMass Dartmouth, Garland averaged 22.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 55.0 percent from the field and an outstanding 61.5 percent from three-point range. 
  • Kaitlyn Bovee, Roger Williams (Jr., F, Berlin, Conn.) - Bovee averaged 19 points and nine rebounds in a perfect 3-0 week for the Hawks, including a 26 point, 10 rebound effort in a 69-41 win over Gordon College.  She had a second double-double with a 15 point, 11 rebound performance against Curry, and ended the week with 16 points against Wentworth Institute of Technology.

  • Denisha Parks of Elms College became the fifth player in school history to pull down 500 rebounds.
  • Newbury's Cathleen O'Connell recouded her 58th career double-double, fifth amongst the NCAA's all-time leaders.
  • Emily Savino, from Western New England University, moved into 10th place in WNE's all-time scoring list.
  • Colby-Sawyer had two entries in the school's all-time record books - Taylor DeSanty became the Chargers' all-time leading scorer with 1,523 points, and Cailin Bullett now tops the all-time career assist list, with 488.
  • Mount Holyoke's Angelica Pascual became the 11th player in school history to score 1,000 career points.
